Opioid Prescription Changes in Oklahoma
Instructor for this course is Melissa Revell, attorney for McAfee & Taft, specializing in healthcare regulatory requirements
Oklahoma joined several states in the nationwide movement to restrict opioid prescriptions. Generally, Senate Bill 1446 places limits on the number of opioid pills that can be prescribe and put in place safeguards to help curb the potential of opioid abuse. Physicians, mid-level providers, hospitals, and other healthcare providers will all be impacted by these new opioid prescribing requirements. If you have any questions about how these changes may affect your practice, it could be very important that you attend this training.
