Short Term Refund Policy: Workshops & Seminars (no refund after class begins).  Other Classes: No refund after the beginning of the 2nd class meeting.  All refund requests must be made in writing via, letter, email or fax.  There will be a 10% cancellation fee and any credit card processing fees, if applicable, withheld from all refunds.  There will be a $25 fee for returned checks.  No refund for books or materials.  Allow a minimum of 10 business days to process your refund.

 

AAA Defensive Driving

Refresh your knowledge of safe driving practices and today's traffic laws. Also learn critical skills such as how to prepare the vehicle for optimum visibility, compensating for environmental factors, driving defensively, and reacting to potentially dangerous traffic situations.

This course is designed for the CNA wishing to take the state CMA exam.  The course covers body systems, medications, administration of medications and documentation requirements.

Prerequisites:  High school diploma or GED, current CNA card with 6 months' work experience as a CNA

MEDIC First Aid Basic Plus

CPR, AED, and First Aid for Adults (NOTE: 24 HR PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES! THIS IS TO ASSURE INSTRUCTORS HAVE AMPLE TIME TO PREPARE FOR TRAINING.

MEDIC First Aid® BasicPlus is a combined adult CPR, AED, and first aid training program designed specifically for the occupational first aid provider. This extremely flexible program will help employers meet OSHA and other federal and state regulatory requirements for training employees how to respond and care for medical emergencies at work. This program conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC and the 2015 AHA and ARC Guidelines Update for First Aid.

PEC H2S Clear

NOTE: 24 HR PREREGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES! THIS IS TO ASSURE INSTRUCTORS HAVE AMPLE TIME TO PREPARE FOR TRAINING.

This course is designed to provide clear instruction on the dangers of H2S – a hazard you cannot see. PECH2S Clear will help students identify the physical and chemical properties, sources, symptoms, and hazards of hydrogen sulfide (H2S). Students will learn about H2S routes of exposure, as well as the proper selection, use, and maintenance of personal and respiratory protective equipment. Students will learn about workplace warnings, practices, and maintenance procedures to protect personnel from exposure to H2S. H2S detection and monitoring systems are introduced. Students will also learn about emergency response procedures, corrective actions, and shutdown procedures which may be necessary in the event of a H2S emergency. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive their PEC ID card. The back of the card reflects PEC courses successfully completed by the student. Employers may also verify course completion by visiting www.peccard.com. 

This course has no prerequisite and covers the current classroom requirements of ANSI Z390.1 and is designed to meet the new ANSI requirements.

SafeLand USA Orientation

SafeLand USA is a HSE instructor-led orientation course for all US onshore contractors. SafeLand training ensures that workers have an awareness of basic hazards and HSE practices in the oilfield while reducing redundant operating company orientations. This training is the preferred orientation for the onshore oil & gas industry.
