Teacher Prep
Welcoming Students Into A Career In Education
The Teacher Prep Program focuses on various careers within the educational system. This career major emphasizes career skills to become a successful educator. Students will develop skills in areas such as communication, technology, teaching methods, problem solving, and managing a learning environment. Students will have the opportunity to gain teaching experience through field experiences.
WTC Teacher Prep students will have the opportunity to earn 3 credit hours to SWOSU. We will be offering Foundations of Education concurrently within the Teacher Prep program. This is a great opportunity for students interested in a career in teaching to get a jump start into the Department of Education at SWOSU.
