My name is Mac, and I’m a post-secondary student in the Computer Networking and Security program at Western Technology Center. This class is all about computers, the internet, networking, and security. You learn how to stay safe online, work with computers, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues. If you enjoy tinkering with computers or working with Windows or Linux, you’d probably enjoy this class. We have hands-on labs, and there are even more opportunities being added as the program continues to grow. No matter what changes come along, this class offers a lot of opportunities to learn about technology and explore different career paths in the computer field.
