Annual Security Report
Western Technology Center disseminates a public Annual Security Report (ASR) to employees and students every October 1st. This ASR includes important consumer information about our campus safety and security, specifically statistics of campus crime for the preceding 3 calendar years, details about efforts taken to improve campus safety, policy statements regarding crime reporting, campus facility security and access, law enforcement authority, incidence of alcohol and drug use, and the prevention of/response to sexual assault, domestic or dating violence, and stalking.

ANNUAL PUBLIC NOTICE OF NON-DISCRIMINATION
Western Technology Center (WTC) does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, religion, or veteran status. Career and technical education programs are offered in the following areas: Automotive Collision Repair; Automotive Service; Biomedical Academy; Business Technology; Computer Networking and Security; Construction Technology; Cosmetology; Criminal Justice; Culinary Arts; Dental Assisting; Dental Hygiene; Diesel Technology; Health Careers Certification; Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technology, Multimedia Technology; Paramedic; Practical Nursing; Pre-Engineering; Service Careers; Teacher Prep; and Welding. High school juniors and seniors are eligible for enrollment with consent of parents and high school administration. Secondary students whose legal residence is in the WTC district may attend WTC tuition free. Non-resident secondary students may enroll on a space available basis, pay out-of-district tuition, and provide their own transportation. Adults may enroll on a first-come, first-served, space available basis with high school and returning students having priority for enrollment. Adults seeking admission must go through WTC’s assessment process prior to enrollment. Adult students may enroll in some classes after the program has started. New students are also accepted in some programs at the beginning of the second semester. WTC will take steps to ensure that the lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to participation in its programs or services. Los programas de carrera y técnico de educación que se ofrecen son los siguientes: Colisión Automotriz, Servicio Automotriz, Academia Biomedico; Tecnica de Negocios; Reparacion de Computadoras y Redes, Tecnología de Construcción; Cosmetologia; Justicia de Penal, Artes Culinarias; Ayudante de Dentista; Higiene Dental; Tecnología Diesel; Certificacion de las Carreras de Salud; Tecnica de Calefaccion, Ventilación y Aire Acondicionado,(HVAC); Tecnologia Multimedia; Paramédico; Enfermería Práctica; Preingenieria; Carreras de Servicios; Preparación del Maestro y Soldadura. Estudiantes de secundaria en los grados de mayor y júnior son elegibles para la inscripción con el consentimiento de los padres y de la administración de la escuela secundaria. Estudiantes de la secundaria cuya residencia legal esta en el distrito de WTC pueden atender gratis, sin matrícula. Los estudiantes secundarios no-residentes deben inscribirse en base de espacio disponible, pagar la matrícula del distrito, y proporcionar su propio transporte. Los adultos pueden inscribirse en el espacio disponible por orden de llegada, pero los estudiantes de secundaria y los que regresando tendrán la prioridad para la inscripción. Los adultos que buscan admisión deben pasar el proceso de la evaluación de WTC antes de la inscripción. Los estudiantes adultos pueden inscribirse en algunas clases después de que el programa ha iniciado.
