Job description:
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Maintain student records.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
REPORTS TO: Support personnel, staff position assigned to the office of the Director of Student Services, who is responsible for supervision and evaluation. Evaluated annually in accordance with the provisions of the board's policy on performance appraisal reviews for support personnel.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Oklahoma Driver License, Notary Public.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Thorough knowledge of general office practices. Ability to deal effectively with school officials. Good working knowledge of the operating practices of technical education. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, ability to establish good rapport with department staff and others is essential. Ability to operate office equipment; eg. computer, typewriter, 10‑Key, copy machine. Use Student Records Program software. Ability to work under stress and meet time schedules.
