Maintenance/Custodian - Sayre Campus
Status: 6 Hours per day, 30 hours per week. Eligible for benefits including health, dental, vision, life and supplemental insurance, as well as Teachers' Retirement Pension, 403(b) and Education Assistance. The premium cost of employee health and dental insurance and all OTRS contributions are paid by WTC.
This position is 12 months annually (July through June each year). Includes paid vacation, sick leave and holidays.
Preferred applicants will possess a Class B CDL with school bus and passenger endorsements "S" and "P" with no airbrake restriction "L."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Assist in maintaining the buildings and grounds of the campus.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
REPORTS TO: Site Director who is responsible for supervision and evaluation.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Preferred one-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Oklahoma driver's license.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Ability to use and operate all tools, equipment, and supplies needed in a safe manner. Ability to deal effectively with school officials. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, ability to establish good rapport with department staff is essential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Clean and wax floors.
2. Operate buffer.
3. Shampoo carpet.
4. Clean building (restroom, glass, offices, classrooms, halls, break room, and entry ways).
5. Painting
6. Assist with grounds maintenance, which may include mowing, weed-eating, edging and/or operating a small tractor.
7. Equipment maintenance and minor repair

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee frequently works in outside weather conditions and is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The noise level may be loud at times, depending on the work being done and the equipment being used.

Bus Driver - Elk City to Burns Flat Campus
Full time: Full time position eligible for benefits including health, dental, vision, life and supplemental insurance, as well as Teachers' Retirement Pension, 403(b) and Education Assistance. The premium cost of employee health and dental insurance and all OTRS contributions are paid by WTC.
This position could be 10 months annually (August through May each year) or 12 months annually (July through June each year). Includes sick leave and paid holidays. May include paid vacation.

Minimum Class B CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements P and S; and no air brake restriction (L) required.
PRIMARY FUNCTION: BUS DRIVER: Safely transport students to and from Western Technology Center campus(es) and authorized field trips/excursions in accordance with DOT requirements and WTC policy/procedure. This route runs from Elk City to Burns Flat and back twice per school day (morning and afternoon). Work day begins and ends in Elk City.
SECONDARY FUNCTION: To be determined. Possibly custodial or clerical, depending upon the applicant's skill set.

Motorcycle Class Range Aide (Part-time) - Elk City Campus

Are you an early riser with a passion for motorcycles? We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to assist with our motorcycle classes on weekends!
Position: Weekend Motorcycle Class Range Aid
Schedule: Saturdays & Sundays, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $11.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Set Up & Tear Down: Arrange and collect cones, barriers, and other equipment needed for the course.
- Motorcycle Handling: Move motorcycles to and from the range, ensuring they're ready for use.
- General Assistance: Provide support to instructors and students as needed to ensure a smooth and safe learning environment.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Comfort with handling motorcycles.
- Reliable and punctual.

Facilities Assistant (Part-time) - Weatherford Campus

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Primary Function: Receptionist and resource for patrons, guests, students, instructors and other employees on the premises for evening and weekend classes, meetings or other activities.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Reports to: Site Director

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations: Certification from a technology center, college or similar preferred, but not required.
