 Student and Staff Electronic or Digital Communications Policy

School personnel engaging in electronic or digital communication with an individual student shall include the students’ parent or guardian in the electronic or digital communication, unless such communication is on a school approved platform and related to school and academic communication.

  The school approved platforms approved for Western Technology Center are:

1.        Remind

2.        GroupMe

3.        Zoom

4.        WTC Microsoft 365 Suite for Education

5.        WTC Google Workplace for Education

6.        School Messenger

7.        WTC Social Media – Facebook, X (Twitter) and Instagram

8.    WTC Website Contact Form

The only exception to this requirement may be made in case of an emergency, subject to subsequent notification of parent or guardian.
